Psalms 103:1-2.
1. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is withijn me, bless His holy name!
2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Kia Orana Tatou Katoatoa,
We, the Cook Islands United Party are committed to uniting and helping our people. We believe that our traditional leaders, spiritual leaders and political leaders are able to build a stronger nation like never before.
This moment in our political history calls for outstanding leadership. COVID-19 and its variants has challenged our people in many ways. Businesses are struggling to survive. Young people are leaving for jobs overseas. The mental well-being of individuals and families is a matter of increasing concern.
But in every crisis, there is a sense of duty. COVID-19 and its variants has highlighted the value of planting food, sharing resources and strengthening our community. We are rediscovering the resilience of our way of life. We have a sense of duty to protect our people by making lasting changes to the way we live and work with each other.
The Cook Islands United Party’s Manifesto is a living document of our peoples needs, concerns, and aspirations. We owe thanks to everyone who openly shared their challenges and frustrations. The Cook Islands United Party are ready to serve our people.
Kia Manuia and God Bless the Cook Islands
